Marketing systems for coaches

Most coaches have a website.
Few have a journey.

For coaches who are ready for clients — but whose brand, message and follow-up haven’t caught up: we upgrade the brand, build the path from stranger to booked call, and put it live on the platform you already run on.

The free tool maps your client archetypes in 15 minutes — step one of every build. The quiz is our flagship; custom journeys welcome too.

How we work

Four steps to turn your audience into clients

  1. 0101

    Discover your archetypes

We start with your actual clients — the ones you love working with — and map the handful of distinct archetypes hiding inside your audience. Not one persona. The real ones.

  2. 0202

    Design the journey

A quiz, an assessment, a diagnostic — whatever gets a stranger to raise their hand. Then a path from that first yes through nurture to a booked call, built differently for each archetype.

  3. 0303

    Build & launch

We design the brand and build the whole thing: quiz, landing pages, nurture sequences — live on the platform you already run your business on.

  4. 0404

    Clients arrive

A quarter of businesses never respond to a web lead at all (Harvard Business Review). Your journey answers in minutes — in the language of that person’s archetype — while you do the coaching.

Step 01 is free — the Client Archetype Map does it with you in about 15 minutes, today.

Why a journey beats a booking button

Your next client isn’t ready today

Marketing scientists at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute estimate that at any moment, only around 5% of a market is actually ready to buy. People drift in and out of urgently wanting a coach — and you can’t time your posts to everyone’s readiness. Here’s the same 1,000 visitors from your socials, down two different paths:

The “book a call” button only

  • 1,000 visitors — 66 even click “book a call”

A median landing page converts 6.6% of visitors (Unbounce) — and asking a stranger for a sales call is a far heavier ask than the median.

  • Only the handful who are ready today book

A booking button works only on the day someone happens to be ready — and at any moment that’s only around 5% of your audience.

  • The other ~950 leave, and you can’t reach them again

No email, no data, no journey. When they become ready next month, they book whoever is in front of them that day.

With a quiz + archetype journey

  • The same 1,000 visitors — ~340 start your quiz

About 1 in 3 people who see a quiz start it (Riddle, 2022 benchmarks — 3.3B data points). Curiosity is a much lighter yes than a sales call.

  • ~150 leave their email, tagged by archetype

Around 45% of coaching-quiz starters opt in (Interact platform data) — each with real answers about what they’re actually struggling with.

  • Your journey speaks to them for months, in their language

Segmented campaigns drive 58% of all email revenue (DMA) — roughly 3x the revenue per recipient of generic blasts (Klaviyo). You’re in their field when they become ready.

  • 10 booked calls → 3 clients → $6,000

If just 1 in 15 of those 150 books a call over the following months and you close 3 at a $2,000 package — from the same visitors the booking button let walk away.

Illustrative example — your package price, traffic and close rate will differ; the booking and close rates above are our conservative assumptions, not benchmarks. The flagship product

The Archetype Quiz

This is our standard build: an interactive quiz that sorts a stranger into one of your client archetypes in a couple of minutes, then speaks back to them in exactly the language that archetype responds to — different proof, different story, different next step.

The email address stops being a toll and becomes a key — by the time someone has answered seven questions about themselves, the result is something they’ve earned. And you don’t just get an email address: every completion hands you real data about what that person actually struggles with, logged straight into your CRM.

The most popular thing the New York Times published in 2013 wasn’t an article. It was a personality quiz.

  • A branded quiz, built around the archetypes we map from your own client history
  • A results page and nurture sequence written for each archetype — not one generic follow-up
  • Landing pages and the booking handoff, wired straight into your calendar
  • Live on GoHighLevel or Wix — hosted on the platform you already run on

The Overwhelmed Achiever

Wants to want less, without losing the results.

The Quiet Expert

Knows their worth. Needs the words to say it out loud.

The Late Bloomer

Ready now, and done waiting for permission.

What’s in a journey

Every journey is a mix — we scope yours together

No two coaches need the same pieces. On the call we map which of these your journey actually needs — nothing more.

  • The archetype quiz + a nurture journey written for each archetype — the core

  • A visual brand refresh, done quickly and well

  • Landing pages that finally match your voice

  • Your product set up properly — and often a Kajabi bill cancelled

  • A CRM with your archetype data logged, fueling everything you do next

  • A content direction aligned to your archetypes

Most journeys land between $1,000–$5,000 and take 4–8 weeks — built with you, in sessions, not delivered from behind a curtain.

Not just quizzes

Have your own idea for a lead magnet or system? We design and build custom journeys too.

The archetype quiz is our starting point, not a limit. Assessments, calculators, application funnels, membership onboarding — if it gets the right stranger to raise their hand and moves them toward a call, we design and build it around your business, the same way: strategy first, then brand, then a live system.

  • Assessments & diagnostics
  • Pricing or ROI calculators
  • Application-style funnels
  • Membership & client onboarding

We build on GoHighLevel or Wix — whichever fits your world.

From the founder

Thirteen years, three disciplines, one obsession

Thirteen years ago I started my career studying marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing in London — then spent three years inside a marketing-automation business in corporate London, learning how the machinery of nurture sequences and lifecycle campaigns actually works at scale.

For the ten years since, I’ve been designing brands and websites for coaches and conscious businesses — the people doing the most human work, usually with the least technical support.

And for years now, archetypes have been at the center of almost everything I do — not as a marketing trick, but as a practice. I’ve built a full musical theatre production on them. I’ve taught workshops at the Yoga Barn in Bali on finding your own. I’ve spent years facilitating men’s work with the King, the Warrior, the Magician and the Lover — and built one of the UK’s most popular men’s work brands a quiz and journey on the masculine archetypes.

Awaken Digital is where it all comes together — marketing automation, coach-specific design, and archetype-led messaging — built into one journey your business runs on. Archetypes aren’t something I bolted on: they’re the lens I’ve worked with for years. Marketing is just where they happen to be most useful.

— Daniel, founder of Awaken Digital

Ready to build your journey?

Map your client archetypes free in about fifteen minutes — or book a call and we’ll map which mix you need: brand, quiz, product, content. You leave with the map either way.

We’re the right fit if you’re ready for clients — whether you sell a course, a retreat, or simply your 1:1 coaching — but there’s nothing between your audience and “book a call with me”: no journey, no nurture, a brand that hasn’t caught up with your skill. We’re the wrong fit for e-commerce megabuilds and fifty-page sites. We like simple things that work.
